Renovating the historic Capitol theater in West Columbia is a deeply meaningful endeavor for me, reflecting both my appreciation for Texas history and a personal connection to the community. While I may not have grown up in West Columbia, my Texas roots shape my understanding of its historical significance, especially as the original capital of our great state. Preserving the name Capitol is a tribute to this legacy and an acknowledgement of the rich tapestry of our shared heritage.
